Our annual awards this year were announced at the CleanMed Europe conference. CleanMed is the leading conference focusing on sustainable healthcare across Europe and beyond. The 2013 conference was organised by Health Care Without Harm Europe and the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare.
There were a wide variety of presentations on all aspects of sustainable healthcare during this three-day event, which included one on creating and commissioning green spaces for health, and talks by Pam Warhurst of Incredible Edible, Rachel Stancliffe, Founder and Director of the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare, Isobel Braithwaite, Coordinator of Healthy Planet UK, and healthcare thought leader Sir Muir Gray.
