The NHS Forest recently worked with the RSK group to develop a myth-busting resource around tree planting. Many people think urban trees are a problem that is best avoided, but this new resource shows that quite often the things people believe about tree planting are simply not true. When people encounter problems with trees it is often a case of ‘wrong tree, wrong place’. Different trees have different qualities, strengths and weaknesses that make them better or worse suited to different locations.
