Who is the ranger?

Our ranger in Liverpool is Aidan Corcoran. Find out more about Aidan.

Which sites are covered?

Aidan is hosted by NHS University Hospitals of Liverpool Group. His main sites are Aintree Hospital and Broadgreen Hospital as well as Royal Liverpool University Hospital.

What are the plans for the different sites?

Aidan is particularly interested in developing nature-based resources and activities in and around the bluebell woodland at Aintree. Taking inspiration from Carl Jung’s lifelong practice of playing with sticks in his garden every day, Aidan hopes to bring a sense of playfulness to his new role. Keen to encourage use of the woodland by all stakeholder groups, he intends to encourage a broad range of activities at Aintree as well as improving the condition of the resource.
