Nominate a site for an NHS Forest award
Please note: nominations for our 2022 NHS Forest awards are now closed. Join us at our online conference on October 19 to see the winners!
Each year, at our autumn conference, we present awards to NHS Forest sites who have created inspiring green spaces and used them in particularly innovative ways. We have now opened nominations for our 2022 awards, and the winners will be announced at this year’s online conference in October.
Any NHS Forest site is eligible to be nominated for an award; if you are not yet part of our network you can sign up for free here. The nominated projects can be collaborations, as long as it is an NHS Forest site, trust or health board that is leading the work.
The project could be for the health and wellbeing of patients, staff or the wider community, or for the benefit of the environment at a health site, for example through increasing or supporting biodiversity. You can nominate your own project, or another one that you know of – please indicate on the form whether you are nominating yourself or others.
We would love to hear about:
- Innovative development of green space at health sites. What have you/they done that is new and different to enhance and make use of green space?
- Active community engagement. How have you/they involved community members?
- Pioneering use of green space by healthcare professionals. What did you/they do, who was involved and what difference has it made?
- Successful ways to support biodiversity. Have you created bug houses, bird boxes and wildlife gardens, or recorded rare species on your site? Tell us more!
