The Woodlands is a new build Older Peoples Mental Health Facility in Rotherham.
The site borders Canklow Woods, a conservation woodland, and there were a number of mature trees on the site prior to building. These have been carefully managed through the building process and retained to ensure the building looks like it was always intended to be within the woodland.
Approximately 35 extra heavy standard trees have also been planted to further increase the presence of tree cover at the site.
