Previously the staff garden was just grass. We cleared some of this to plant wildflowers and installed some insects hotels. We also planted a cherry tree and a plaque dedicated to the memory of two colleagues. We implement ‘no mow May’ and let the grass grow longer over the summer to encourage insects such as grasshoppers. In 2023 the staff grew sunflowers from seed, which were then planted out.
