Norwich Community Hospital joined NHS Forest in 2021. The Mulberry Garden was opened in 2023 and is used as a patient and staff green open space resource. The Mulberry Garden provides a space for reablement patients in the Willow Therapy Unit (which opened in 2025) to actively engage in wellbeing activities as part of their reablement. The Norwich Community Hospital has a lawn in front of Woodlands House and areas of trees and shrubs which the trust are aiming to redevelop in the next two years to improve the green amenity for patients, visitors and staff.
