Millbrook Mental Health Unit joined the NHS Forest in 2022. They are creating pollinator-friendly outdoor spaces, whilst also creating wellbeing spaces for service users, staff and visitors. The idea of this area is to create a ‘pollinator paradise’ for bees, butterflies and other pollinators and an environment for staff to take time out in nature.  If the area can be made safe, this would be extended to patients too.

Another site within the Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust has also planted 4,200 trees in the 2021/22 season; these are recorded here.
