Ipswich Hospital joined the NHS Forest in 2022. They have a number of green spaces on site: courtyard areas, trees, and garden spaces with seating for staff. They also have a beehive on-site and some garden space dedicated for use by inpatients. They are working on developing their green spaces and have plans to plant trees and start growing vegetables, as well as expanding local community involvement.

In late 2023 they planted 120 NHS Forest trees paid for by the Nature for Climate fund.
