Hollins park is situated just off the M62 in a heavily wooded setting. It is surrounded by farmers’ fields. Service users and Staff came together in 2022 to plant 30 trees to the north of the hospital in front of the carpark to form part of the Queen’s Green Canopy for Platinum Jubilee celebrations. They planted a mix of hornbeam, cherry, birch, pine and willow. The site already has a large number of mature and semi mature trees, now around almost the entire circumference of the site, giving the feeling of being in a clearing in a woodland.

To the south the there is a small poly-tunnel with the ability to grow your own produce. They are currently considering further additions to the site including wildflowers for pollinators.
