Grow Well is a social prescribing to therapeutic community gardens project, with 3 sites which GPs and other primary care providers can refer patients to for their health and wellbeing. The gardens are a wonderful mix of fruit and veg, herbs, flowers, ponds and mini havens for wildlife in the city. We have weekly groups which consist of a mixture of activities based around growing, harvesting, caring for our wildlife, woodwork, nature based arts and crafts, along with a hearty helping of tea and socialising. We offer a safe space for people facing a wide range of health challenges to take part in something which can improve their wellbeing, connect them to their local community and most importantly, connect them to nature. You can follow them on Twitter @GrowWellCardiff.
