Fairfields has been created as a memorial woodland by and for Yorkshire Ambulance Service. It provides a space for staff to relax with seating, pond, and a meadow area.
In 2024 the site was runner-up for the Pioneering Use of Green Space Award at the NHS Forest Awards.
