Larger-scale tree planting expression of interest

Please complete this form to register your interest in planting upwards of 250 trees during the 2025-26 planting season. For smaller orders please visit our tree bundles page. We are able to supply trees for planting on NHS land in England, Wales and Scotland, and hope to provide trees for all sites who request them.

NHS Forest will supply all trees on a first-come, first-served basis. Please apply and confirm tree requests as early as possible. Orders will be paused once the available funding has been assigned; unfulfilled requests will be carried over to next winter.

This form should take around 5 minutes to complete, though we recommend considering the areas you hope to plant and establishing approximate dimensions ahead of time. Before applying please ensure you have checked with the relevant Estates / Facilities teams within your organisation and have their authorisation to plant trees at your site. Please email info@nhsforest.org if you have any questions.

Once you have submitted your expression of interest, we will be in touch to discuss the request and request some additional details relating to your plans for using the trees; please double check your junk folder and whitelist our email address to ensure messages relating to your request aren’t inadvertently flagged as spam.

Planting hedgerows

Much of NHS Forest’s work focuses on tree planting and we recommend applicants incorporate groups of trees wherever practicable to deliver the many benefits of increased canopy cover in healthcare settings. However we accept that hedging will be the most appropriate type of planting for some sites and hedgerows are themselves a valuable asset for biodiversity and habitat connectivity. To this end we will make every effort to facilitate as much hedging as possible (within the limitations of our funding); applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis, but with a view to extending support for planting to as many sites as possible we may prioritise proposals incorporating a tree element.
