Mid Essex Services Hospital Trust has been Highly Commended at the Health Services Journal’s HSJ Awards for their project “Natural Health Service: managing an estate and natural woodlands to provide an enhanced environment to provide patient care.”
Broomfield Hospital has been part of the NHS Forest since 2010 and has carried out numerous green space engagement activities on site. These include working with LOTA teenagers to improve path edging, holding corporate activity days carrying out conservation activities on site, and various tree planting days with local school children.
