Homerton Hospital, in East London, joined the NHS Forest in 2022 by working with a CSH Nature Recovery Rangers. The main hospital and some community sites now have several purpose built therapy gardens. Some of these are fully open to all hospital users and visitors, others are closed to the public and soley for patients and their families.
The trust employs a horticultural therapist, who delivers sessions across different gardens. The trust actively engages volunteers and partners to maintain and develop the beautiful green spaces across the trust sites.
