Littlemore Mental Health Centre is the site of Tiny Forest planted by Earthwatch and the NHS Forest in 2021. In 2023 the site won an NHS Forest award for pioneering use of green space by healthcare professionals and in 2024 the centre planted another 1300 trees on the site.
Staff at Littlemore Mental Health Centre said: “Patients really look forward to visiting the Tiny Forest each week. They enjoy taking part in the surveys and Science Days. This has made them feel valued”.
