All Trees for Healthcare bundles contain 1-year cell-grown seedlings, supplied with biodegradable spiral guards and bamboo canes. For full descriptions and available mixes, see here.

Did you know the tree shelters and all other planting sundries included in our bundles are 100% plastic free? You can read more about NHS Forest’s approach to reducing plastic use here.

We recommend using planting sundries as this will likely improve the establishment rate. However you may choose to exclude tree shelters and mulch mats if these are not required.

By opting to remove the planting sundries from your order, you confirm that these are surplus to requirements and that your healthcare site is suitable for unprotected tree planting.

Please be aware that NHS Forest will not replace stock lost to animal damage where trees have been planted without shelters; planting accessories cannot be supplied retrospectively.

Planting evidence

For all planting locations we require the following information before we can send trees:

The latitude and longitude or grid reference or what3words address for the mid-point of the planting area/s.
A map or aerial view of the site indicating the planting area/s and the position from which the photos were taken.
A recent photograph of the planting site. For larger areas please take a few photos from different angles.

If the trees will be planted in multiple locations, please provide this evidence for each of these areas.
