Creating a nature trail

We’re looking for volunteers to help with some of the physical groundwork on Freeman Hospital’s new nature trail — clearing overgrown areas, cutting back scrub, and opening up spaces so plants, wildlife, and people can all get more out of the site.
This is hands-on outdoor work: expect mud, tools, and a real sense of progress at the end of each session. No experience needed — just a willingness to get stuck in. Gloves and tools provided; sturdy footwear essential.
Your effort directly shapes a therapeutic green space used by patients, visitors, and NHS staff. Come and make a visible difference.
