Several fruit trees have been planted at York Ambulance Station. Two fruit trees were donated by a grateful patient, and three were planted in 2011 on behalf of the YAS Charitable Fund. Five fruit trees were planted in 2012 on behalf of the First Transpennine Express and the Forestry Commission Green Grant Scheme.
