This is the first dental surgery to register as an NHS Forest site in Wales. The surgery’s garden is a small, square patch laid to lawn with a hedge and views of the sea. It is right outside the two clinical areas, both of which have patio doors on to the garden, meaning that patients are able to enjoy views of the garden whilst receiving treatment.

When the surgery is closed for treatment on Friday afternoons, patients and supporters can access the garden without disturbing the work of staff. The dentists is keen to encourage his patients to tend to the garden on Fridays and over the weekends.

There are plans to plant trees in the garden.
