Lanchester Road Hospital joined the NHS Forest in 2022. They have planted hundreds of trees on their site, and engage staff and patients in planting. Their wellbeing garden is used by their occupational therapy team on-site.
In 2024 they planted a further 200 NHS Forest trees paid for by the Nature for Climate fund.
