Penrice School planted 25 trees as part of the Cornish NHS Forest on 12 December 2011. The trees have been planted within the school grounds, with children from the Forest Schools programme taking part.
The NHS Forest Cornwall project aims to create green corridors throughout the county, and in this area Penrice School will be linked to the nearby St Austell Community Hospital which is planning to plant trees as part of the initiative.
