School children help raise funds for tree planting at Northwick Park
|School children from Mount Steward Primary School have been busy designing posters to gain sponsorship for trees to be planted at Northwick Park Hospital. They will be displaying their posters around the hospital in the hope that it will encourage staff, patients and the local community to sponsor the trees and increase the greenspace on site. Charles Hurford, a radiographer and sustainabiltiy champion at the trust has been instrumental in managing this project. http://www.nhsforest.org/school-children-help-raise-funds-tree-planting-northwick-park|

Forest News - how many trees have you planted so far?
The current tree count is 33,553, fantastic work but there are even more trees in the ground that still need to be registered, so please update your tree counter to help us reach our target of 1.3 million trees. Do share any seasonal activites you may be up to at your NHS Forest.
