Get Involved

NHS staff, patients and the local community all have key roles to play in the NHS Forest project. If you work in healthcare and are interested in increasing the number of trees at your organisation, please contact the NHS Forest project coordinator whose contact details are below. The minimum requirement is for one tree to be planted.

Has your site carried out tree planting already? Please do contact us if you would like to sign up your site retrospectively. The links on this page to the Letter of Agreement and Guidance Pack are for NHS Trusts to sign up to the scheme and to provide planting advice. Regional events will be held during 2010 to provide more information locally - please see the news section. Both patients and the wider community can access the NHS Forest either as places for relaxation or for taking time to explore the site and engaging in some exercise whilst doing so. The maps on this website allow you to discover which sites are nearby to where you live and work.

Join us and help to bring health and the environment closer.
